The near psychedelic morphing of the atmosphere built from the floaty synths is what informs most of the album, especially the back half that breaks free into more symphonic grandeur. However, the furiousity is still prevalent, with their traditional vocal sound still just as potent as always.

An excellent blend of black metal and death metal sounds. The whole thing is just a delightfully creepy listen! The dual vocal attack is great. There is a lot of tremolo in the guitar riffs, alternating between low and crushing tones and blistering high tones. Excellent album, beginning to end! klflick1980
