Choco Latte My introduction to both bands and their respected greatness. Barghest are brazen and vicious. False deserve their own category and I can't hide my love for them. Epic. Favorite track: Heavy as a Church Tower.

CS False just about win it for me with this split but a solid outing from both bands makes it a close call. Favorite track: Heavy as a Church Tower.

xhrl_ A killer split. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys black metal or hardcore punk. The two Barghest tunes erode a listener's spirit with their thrashy, generally high-tempo blackened metal. Then the single track [roughly 17'] by False grinds to powder whatever might remain of a listener's spirit by serving up constant mid to slow tempo despondency; leaving a hearer in utter hopelessness. There are echoes in False here of Thou. Yes, this is a fantastic split! Favorite track: Heavy as a Church Tower.
